Sweden Day 12 – From Entrepreneurship to Midsummer: A Day to Remember

Today was honestly one of the most memorable days here in Enköping. Since school was starting an hour later, everyone got to sleep a little extra, which felt amazing. But even with the relaxed morning, the day quickly became busy because our entrepreneurship presentation was the next day.

At school, the Grade 1 students had organised a mini fair, and it was surprisingly creative and innovative. Their stalls, ideas, and confidence were really impressive, and it was fun to see how excited they were about their projects.

Meanwhile, all of us were stressed trying to finish our own entrepreneurship projects. There were last-minute changes, small problems, and a lot of pressure, but somehow, every team managed to complete their work through teamwork and by helping each other.

In the evening, we went to Kerstin’s place for the farewell dinner and Midsummer celebration. We decorated the traditional cross with leaves and branches, ate barbecue chicken, paneer, and vegetables, played fun group games, danced around the cross, and clicked lots of pictures.

The whole evening felt happy but emotional at the same time because none of us wanted to leave Enköping so soon. The lake, cottages, laughter, and memories will always stay with us.

Later at night, we packed our bags, cleaned the cottages, sorted the dishes and cups, and somehow still worked on the last bits of our presentation before finally ending the day.
