Sweden Day 11 – One Last Evening in Enköping_ Laughs, Memories & Goodbyes

Today was a short yet wholesome day. It was Shreyas’ birthday, so we surprised him at midnight, although he didn’t seem surprised at all.

The day started out normally. We went to school, did some stretching, and continued working on our projects. We had to make mini booth models of our product/app to showcase the next day. We had fun experimenting with different ideas and materials. Everyone in their groups was actively involved. But today felt different, perhaps because it was our second-last day in Enköping.

We continued working on our projects, and before we knew it, school was over.

We stayed back for a while as Lakshmi Ma’am wanted to have a word with us. We talked about our insights and learnings and had a meaningful discussion about our growth during our stay in Sweden.

After that, we went to Coop while waiting for the next bus. We bought some donuts, candy, and chocolates before heading back to the cabins.

Later, we met up with Oliver, Katarina, Oscar, and Albin. We threw another surprise birthday party for Shreyas, as well as for Oliver, and spent some quality time together, filled with laughter and joy. Yet, a bittersweet feeling lingered in our hearts as we gradually realised that this would be the last time we would all hang out together.

We played Uno, Truth or Dare, talked about our lives, and even sat in silence at times, yet still had a great time together.

They eventually went back home, leaving us both dreading and looking forward to the next day.
