Sweden Day 3 – From Viking Stones to Rajma Chawal: A Memorable Day Exploring Enköping

We started off our morning by carrying extra warm clothes and tons of excitement for the guided tour of Enköping which btw was organized by the grade 1 students (the juniors). We headed to our classrooms for continuing the entrepreneurship projects. Later we left for our tour, all ready to walk the streets of Sweden. Firstly we visited the Wallinska gården, a historical gem in Enköping. Secondly ,we visited the Vårfrukyrkan, the church with rich architecture. Later we visited the Rune stones that included the carvings from the times of Vikings, the statue of Dr. Westerlund , the statue of JP Johansson, The fountain of four elements and Joar blue. We headed back to school, had lunch and played a really enjoyable music quiz organized by our classmates. We also played a quiz on India. We continued our projects and came back to our cottages . We made a cheese chilly toast and were chilling in the afternoon. Further we went on a walk besides the lake, talked about our day and social interactions in school . We ended our day by eating Rajma chawal + rice for dinner !
