Sweden Day 12 – From Cottages to Capitalism

Our Stockholm adventure started in style—rolling in on a double-decker bus like true tourists on a mission. The top deck gave us all the views (and the wind-blown selfies), setting the tone for the day.

First stop? McDonald’s. After weeks without fast food, it felt like a warm, crispy hug in burger form. Fries were devoured. Regrets were zero.

With our cravings conquered, we hit the streets, diving into second-hand stores that were more “vintage chic” than “budget-friendly.” Turns out, pre-owned fashion in Stockholm comes with premium price tags—and we came for deals, not designer.

Still, between the iconic bites, overpriced bargains, and city strolls, the day delivered the perfect mix of fun, food, and sticker shock. Stockholm served it all—with fries on the side.
