Educomp smartclass<\/a>\u00a0is a digital initiative that transforms the way teachers teach and students learn at Dhruv Global School . It\u2019s a new age technology movement that is fast becoming an imperative for learning. We have nine classrooms in the secondary section, two labs in the primary and one audiovisual room in the preprimary equipped with Educomp digital classroom facility.<\/p>\n

To understand the concept of an Educomp smartclass lets consider these few examples: The Science teacher while explaining how a DNA replicates is able to show the class a 3D animation of the\u00a0DNA replication<\/a>\u00a0process on a large screen. She can explain the fine points of the process, zoom in to show the relevant visuals. freeze and annotate when and where she needs to emphasize. Similarly the History teacher shows the class a virtual walk through of the\u00a0Harappan Civilisation, uncovering the relevant parts step by step as a part of her lesson plan. The Geography teacher shows a virtual\u00a0block mountain\u00a0being formed\u2026all with engaging animations, colors, music, sounds and voice. The teachers gain the complete attention and interest of every child in the class and in turn the students get a visual and audio treat, along with a permanently instilled bank of knowledge.<\/p>\n

Towards the end of the class, every teacher displays a set of questions on the smart screen and every child in the class gets ready to answer the questions with their personal answering device \u2013\u00a0SAS. Students click the answers and instantly, teachers are able to get a score sheet for every child in class. She ends the class re \u2013teaching the parts of the lesson that were not well understood.\u00a0This results in faster and accurate understanding of the concepts in class and helps improve the overall academic performance of students. Teachers are able to keep students engaged in the learning process and also obtain an instant and accurate assessment of learning outcomes achieved towards the end of the class.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
